Summer at Amphoras

Well Summer is already upon us here at Amphoras Bar and we have some fantastic food and wine events planned.

WA Stone Fruit week

Running from Monday 23 January until Saturday 28 January Amphoras will be showcasing WA Stone Fruits. All week there will be delicious tapas specials.

Paella and Sangria Night

Back by popular demand every Wednesday night we will be having Paella and Sangria night at Amphoras. For only $55 you get traditional Spanish paella and a jug of Sangria for two. This night has proven to be extremely popular so get in early and book! Starting Wednesday 18 January.

Champagne Tasting

On Tuesday 21 February at 6.00pm in the beautiful and exclusive Amphoras Private Dining Room we are holding an informative and indulgent tasting session over two hours, with eight different Champagnes with delicious matching canapés.

The session will be hosted by Paul (Ed) Edwards AIWS our Wine Consultant, who will present and discuss the origins, history and styles of the selected Champagnes. Please contact Jodie at the Bar for further details. Tickets priced at $75.

Wine Education Course

Amphoras is pleased to offer our Private Room to our Consultant and Wine Educator Paul (Ed) Edwards AWIS, to conduct the internationally recognised Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Wine Qualification Course commencing on Monday 6 February. The course syllabus takes a global view on wine giving students the opportunity to learn about and taste wines from all the major wine producing regions of the world.
